Let the organized CHAOS begin...

Ethan and Rachel have been waiting very patiently for the day to come when they could start "packing" the house in the moving trailer (this one will be pulled behind my vehicle). Notice what went in first, their bicycles and lawn chairs so we can watch them. This will be my last post until we get settled in Mississippi. Keep us in your prayers as we move from the northern border to the southern border. Signing off for now...

FINI FLIGHT

Today was Jason's last flight here at Grand Forks AFB. We got to totally drench him with the water extinguishers, Ethan loved it and Rachel did not like that everybody was "being mean with the water", too funny! She's so protective of her daddy.

Around the Base

Our time here at Grand Forks is rapidly coming to an end. I took the kids around the base today to take some final pictures. Their school, where it all started and where many memories were made. As well as the front entry and "daddy's airplane" that greets us everytime we enter the base. We will miss the cool summers up here, the weather is beautiful today, in case you can't tell from the pictures. However, instead of snowsuits this winter we will probably be wearing shorts in December in Mississippi.

The Last Lecture

THE LAST LECTURE
I've read the book and watched the video, highly recommend it to everybody. If we could ALL only have this type of attitude towards life, what a wonderful world this would be. If you would like to watch the video the link us under my favorite links.

HOUSE HUNTING

We decided that I would go house hunting and Jason would stay here with the kids. I left Grand Forks early last Sunday morning on a mission to find our family a house in Mississippi. What an experience that would turn out to be, not so easy would be an understatement. After a long week and lots of phone calls and miles driven, our new home finally appeared on Friday. It's an older house but the inside is completely redone, real hardwood floors and all the upgrades, stainless appliances and granite countertops. My favorite part are the sinks in Ethan and Rachel's bathroom (see pic). I think they will get a kick out of having bowls for sinks. Here's a picture of the front of the house, once we get there and get unpacked I will post more pictures.
