Apparently, Ocean Springs hosts the first Mardi Gras parade of the season and it is a family friendly one, thank goodness for that! This is our first experience with Mardi Gras and there are beads galore. The kids totally enjoyed it and the weather was perfect too.
Wow how time flies! Ethan turned six today and we had his party at Pump it Up on Sunday after church. I always think about what we did the year prior and we did the bouncy castle theme last year too but drove through a blizzard to get to it. Pump It Up is Ethan's favorite place down here on the coast besides the beach. In the picture with the kids against the wall, well, we had to put all of them in time out for many things and let me tell you it takes talent to line up 18 kids...just kidding, but the picture does look like they are in time out. It was for a scavenger hunt and they weren't suppose to be looking. After the kids had a blast (some adult kids too) we all headed back to our house for the Super Bowl party. It was a day full of entertainment, good company, good food, and not so good Super Bowl...you can't win them all. Ethan says, thank you everybody for the presents. As for the Super Bowl Party, can't wait for next year!
