Rachel's Dollhouse

So, Santa delivered Rachel a dollhouse (base model) and we did a lot of work to it this weekend. Rachel picked the wallpaper scheme and the order of rooms. There are still some details that need to be added; lighting, rugs, windows, but we're getting there. She wants the top to be a pool deck because she has a Barbie pool, but I'm trying to convince her to put a roof on top and it can be used as storage for all her Barbie accessories. After telling her that the pool could only have pretend water I think the roof idea might win.

Disco Roller Skate Night

Tonight we had a home group rally for church and the theme was Disco. These two dudes showed up looking totally groovy and I just had to capture it with a picture. ENJOY!

Major Select

Jason was selected for Major this past week and I threw him a surprise promotion party at The Shed (local BBQ joint for you non-locals). Thanks everybody for coming out and celebrating with us. We'll have to celebrate again once he has his pin-on ceremony. Major Eddy, that's going to take some time getting use to. My favorite joke of the night: What do you call a Major select? A Captain. Thanks Gerry!
