As most of you know I was training for the Fargo marathon. I had the most awesome training partner and I highly doubt I will ever find one to replace her. I so wish I could be crossing that finish line with her on Saturday. That goal (running a marathon) unfortunately came to an end about 2 months ago when I stress fractured my ankle. So, there's the update on the marathon training. I have had a few curve balls thrown at me over the past few months. Back in December I had an emergency appendectomy, in March I broke my ankle, and most recently I just went to the hospital for severe dehydration from a virus. Having said all that, I am determined to get back on the running trails again and hopefully finish some type of race this year. My sites are now set on a triathlon in September, and hopefully a marathon in December. I am determinded to make 30 a memorable year yet, as far as physical training goes.

Wow Crystal... I didn't know about all these other things going on in your life. Not good! The best thing is to get yourself all healthy first and then get to all your athletic goals. Good for you for not giving up though. Where is the triathlon you are planning on doing?
I bet your probably busy with getting ready to PCS. When are you moving exactly?
