We went and toured the USS Alabama; what a moving experience. As we walked through the inside of the ship the smells and all the equipment almost brought to life what happened on that ship so many years ago. It was almost too much to take in, just the size of the ship itself is overwhelming.

Rachel's Baptism
We got to celebrate Rachel's baptism today. She was baptized by Ms. Jessica at Front beach in Ocean Springs, MS. We are so proud of her and can't wait to see what God has in store for our strong-willed little girl. In our pastor's words: She's off the market, satan beware!

Happy 6th Rachel!
Rachel turned 6 years old today! Where has the time gone?! She got an American Girl doll and many matching outfits to dress up with her doll, who she named Bailey.

Lobster from Maine
Jason flew up to Maine and brought home a variety of live lobsters. Ethan and Rachel had fun unpacking them and Jason enjoyed eating them.

Easter and Spring Break 2010
We hit the road and headed to TX for an action packed spring break this year. I don't think we could've added another thing to the calendar while we were there: Great Wolf Lodge, Easter egg hunts, American Girl Store, Lego Store, Central Market, Ice Skating at the Galleria, Friday night poker, Saturday morning football, not to mention all the family time with grandparents and cousins. My tempurpedic mattress never felt so good when we finally made it back to MS!

Canlas Farewell
We had to say see you later to very close friends this weekend! Jonah and Malea spent their last night in MS with us, while Jimmy and Joy cleaned and packed the night away getting ready to PCS to Washington D.C.

Treasure Island Extravaganza
Wow, where did the last month go?! I was consumed with planning, organizing, begging, and stressing over the KSC's annual fundraiser. I had an awesome team of volunteers that helped make the night a huge success. We raised $6,000.00 for our scholarship fund and charitable giving.
