SERIOUSLY!

Today is April 11 and we are still getting snow, seriously?! These are not old photos; this is what we woke up to this morning. It give a whole new meaning to rude awakening. I thought last year when it snowed for the last time on April fool's day that was wrong, this year it's almost 2 weeks later. GET ME TO THE BEACH!

NORTH to SOUTH

It's official! We are leaving the frozen tundra, north pole, barron wasteland; whatever you would like to call Grand Forks, ND. We are headed to Keesler AFB in Biloxi, MS; nice sunny beaches and plenty of warm weather, woohoo! We should be leaving here mid July to start our moving road trip from the north side of the USA all the way to the south side. The countdown is on! Although we will NOT miss the ND winters we will definitely miss many of the people that became such wonderful friends. I know there will never be another Nevada Dr. in our future, tear. Ethan and Rachel will definitely miss their school and teachers, they are all wonderful.

Mario Kart Showdown!

Ethan's favorite game is Mario Kart and he loves to have competition, sort of...hahaha. His two favorite friends, Carter and Zak, are stiff competitors. I love how Carter took the time to smile for the camera in the first picture. So intense and serious.

6 YEARS!

Today is mine and Jason's wedding anniversary. We have been married for six years, so short. I told Jason I feel cheated on the technical married years because we dated for seven years before getting married.

Date Night!

Jason and I have tried to start going on dates at least once a month. It sounds funny but it's so nice. We went out for a big night on the base, Rockers and bowling, look out!

Our little Annie!

I decided to curl Rachel's hair and did not expect the outcome to be so CRAZY! I curled it with sponge rollers and she slept in them, WOW what an afro! We will try bigger rollers next time.

COMPASSION

Our family has decided to sponsor 2 children through Compassion International. One is a little girl named Sharon, who is 5 years old and lives in Guatemala. The other is a little boy named Jaylens, who is 4 years old and lives in Haiti. Ethan and Rachel are excited to write letters, send pictures, and learn more about them. What a wonderful opportunity and blessing to be able to have a positive Christian impact on just two of the millions of children who do not have the opportunities we are afforded in the U.S.A. Please keep us, Sharon and Jaylens in your prayers as we begin a journey that I am sure will make lasting memories for all. I haved added the website under "favorite links" if you want to know more.
